PRE-ENROLMENT AND REGISTRATION UPDATE

Thanks to all the families who pre-enrolled before the deadline to help our school get ready for 2024–25! 

We’re happy to let you know that, based on available space, all students who registered or pre-enrolled before March 22, 2024, have been accepted. We look forward to seeing your family in the fall!

For the 2024 - 2025 school year, École Kenilworth School is full in planned classes in Grade 8 and Grade 9 in the regular program AND Grade 7 in the French immersion programWe will no longer accept enrolment requests for Grade 7 in the French immersion program. For the regular program, we will now only accept resident students in Grade 8 and Grade 9 whose parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have newly moved into the school’s attendance area. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.

2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR INFORMATION

For the 2023-2024 school year, École Kenilworth School is FULL to capacity in planned classes in Grades 7 in the Regular Program.

We will now only accept resident students in Grades 7 who have newly moved into the school’s attendance area for the regular program.  A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.

NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION

If your child is new to Edmonton Public Schools, you can register for school online. Visit the Division website to learn how to register for school.

CURRENT DIVISION STUDENTS PRE-ENROL

You will need to pre-enrol on SchoolZone to tell us the school you’d like your child to attend next year. Find important dates and deadlines and learn more about pre-enrolment, which opens February to March each year.

The following supplies are recommended for all students attending École Kenilworth School. Please be advised that as students complete their work during the year, supplies may need to be replenished.

3 Packages of 200, medium lined, ruled loose leaf paper
1 Coiled scribbler
1 Graph paper notebook (for math) for French Immersion Grade 7
1 Package graph paper (for math) for English and French Immersion Grade 8 & 9
4 Packages of binder dividers
1 Pencil case complete with:
     ▪ 8 pens (blue or black)
     ▪ 2 erasers – white nylon
     ▪ scissors
     ▪ 4 assorted highlighters
     ▪ 12 HB pencils with erasers
     ▪ 1 Large glue stick
     ▪ pencil crayons
     ▪ 30 cm (12”) ruler
Geometry set
Calculator – 2 inexpensive scientific calculators (one for home and one for school).
1 Set of Headphones

Physical Education
     ▪ Physical education clothes; shorts, sweats, t-shirt, socks, indoor non-marking runners
     ▪ Recommended; a combination lock for gym locker use during physical education classes

Locks
All students will receive a lock for their hallway locker. All lockers are the property of École
Kenilworth School. Locks are assigned to students for a one-year period. Replacement locks are
available for $5.00.
