PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Bienvenue and welcome to École Kenilworth School! We welcome all prospective and returning students to the 2024-2025 school year. Kenilworth Junior High School has a strong tradition of providing excellent teaching and learning experiences in both French and English. Our school is committed to meeting the individual academic needs of all students by providing high-quality learning environments that challenge and engage students. At Kenilworth, our instructional focus is “Striving for excellence by engaging students to take charge of their learning.” We provide a well-balanced learning environment that instills students with citizenship and good character and provides students with many opportunities to lead within and outside the school. We have high standards for all our students because we know they are capable of excellence. Our staff at Kenilworth see the potential in every student and use their skill and talents to teach and lead, making our school a special place to learn every day. Together, students and staff make Kenilworth a create a school of excellence.
In addition to high-quality core courses in both French and English, we offer a range of enrichment programs including instrumental music, art, drama, outdoor education, foods, construction, film studies, and leadership. To supplement these school programs, there are extra-curricular opportunities in athletics and clubs for students to participate in, and opportunities for student-led clubs every year. Extracurricular teams, clubs, and events help our students build lifelong relationships and skills that will help them transition effectively into high school and beyond. We work closely and collaboratively with our school council to provide our students with extra learning opportunities that enhance learning. We greatly value the relationships we have built with our community.
